Our needs Assessment process helps schools by
providing a detailed, objective picture of
how your school is performing. It's an in-depth,
four-part process that includes meeting with
school administrators and faculty, observing your
school in action, reviewing academic data, and
finally, identifying your strengths, challenges
and opportunities for improvement. While Needs Assessment can be customized to focus
on your specific questions about your school, they
usually address the following areas:
Classroom Instruction:
What are educators doing to ensure their
curriculum meets the constantly evolving state
standards? How are teachers keeping up with
the new strategies and research?
Use of Data:
What types of student data do teachers use, and
how? What type of support is provided to teachers
to enhance this process?
Student Achievement: Are students
progressing toward proficiency in all state standards?
Do students need support in particular curricular
areas?
Professional Development:
Are professional development programs data-driven
and effective? Do teachers work in a collaborative environment where best practices are shared?
School/Center Management: Is the administration overwhelmed by managerial duties? Is the corporate side of education running smoothly?
At the completion of our Needs Assessment, we
create a thorough report that describes each of
the above areas, based on the information we
gather and the priorities you share with us.
This report serves as a foundation from which to
create a customized improvement plan.
